Mind Magic Tips
Our minds are amazing! They literally create our reality. If we aren't tuned into how our mind tries to hold us back, it will take over and let us believe things that just aren't true! This is detrimental to learning new things, experiencing new opportunities, having the relationships we want, or living the lives we hoped. Here are some examples of ways our mind tries to trick us into old ways, keep us from moving forward and allowing us to take the fall for things we have no control over. With time and practice, these quick mind magic tips will jump start your brain in the best amazing ways so you can live your best amazing life!
Mind Magic Tip #1
Watch the video and then answer the following:

Where is Michelle getting this story? Growing up, she may have heard things like: "Why don't you study as much as your sister?"; "If you don't get a high score on your SAT's you won't get into college" or, "If you don't get good grades you will live on the streets". Any or some combination of these or similar messages were likely meant to motivate Michelle as a child. They were drilled into her subconscious mind and hard wired to create beliefs that surface when triggered by fears around intellectual performance. But as an adult, this dis-empowering belief system is sabotaging her self-confidence and she can change it!
Mind Magic Tip #1
When you notice negative thoughts like, "I'm not smart enough, good enough, pretty enough, etc", STOP them in their tracks by repeating this to yourself: "You can't trick me. I'm not the person I used to be. I AM ENOUGH AND I'M AMAZING!"
Replacing an old thought with a new one will rewire your brain to remove the old belief so your feelings and actions will start to mirror your new belief.
